AARON PALMATARY JR. Aaron "Buddy" Franklin Palmatary Jr., of North Las Vegas, was the beloved husband, for 49 years, of Marlene Marie Palmatary (nee Rice); the loving father of Lorie (Michael) Obrzut of Olmsted Falls, Ohio, and Donna (Stephen Geers) Palmatary of Hamilton, Ohio; devoted grandfather of Cherylyn Geers; brother of Donald (Jean) of Ft. Smith, Ark., Dorris (John) Munro of Wilmington, Del., Elaine (Eliot) Palmatary Holbrook Smith of Salem, S.C., Richard of Orlando, Fla., Harvey (Bonnie) of Lock Haven, Pa., Robert of Oklahoma City, Duane (Carolyn) of Chadds Ford, Pa.; Sara (Vance) Pennington of Newark, Del., Catherine (Jack) Parkinson of Claymont, Del., Gladys (Bayard) Taylor of East New Market, Md., and JoAnn (Gene) Borror of Perryville, Md.; and uncle to many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Aaron, who passed away quietly Friday, April 30, 2010, was 76 years old. He was preceded in death by his parents, Aaron Franklin and Madeline Payne Palmatary. Aaron was born in Fairville, Pa., and graduated from Kennett Consolidated School, in Kennett Square, Pa., class of 1952. He was a longtime employee of NCR Corporation. Aaron loved sports and was a huge fan of the Dayton Flyers. He enjoyed watching Winter Guard International performances, especially those of the Miller's Blackhawks. He was a simple yet dedicated man who will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Memorial services will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 2, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1811 Pueblo Vista Drive, in Las Vegas.
